BePositive

During Christmas Break, I have decided to indulge, and in some cases re-indulge, in Ayn Rand's fiction - starting with The Fountainhead, moving to Anthem and finishing with Atlas Shrugged before the Spring 2009 semester starts up again. It is important for you to know, that I do not completely agree with everything that Ayn Rand has to say or philosophize, but I think her innovations and integrations in literary writing and philosophical thinking are too important to pass up. Along this route, I would like to ask for all of your input, as this will be an open discussion-type study, but I want to make some points, learn some things, and develop some more complete thoughts on her integral thoughts.

If you do not like her in the least, I am sorry - direct your attention elsewhere. But for those of you who do, I would really appreciate your input.

Before I begin, if you have not yet read anything by Ayn Rand and still wish to understand completely her philosophies and the workings of her movement toward Objectivist thinking, please visit: http://www.aynrand.org/site/PageServer?pagename=index

Now, let's begin.
